Privacy policy

1. Controller

The controller for personal data processed on EQwispr is Like Minded LLC, 5830 E 2nd St Ste 6300, Casper, WY 82609, USA. Email: team@eqwispr.com, phone +1 (307) 500-2537. Data is processed on servers operated by our providers, which may be located in the United States and the European Union; international transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards where required.

2. What we collect

We collect only what the product needs to work:

• Account data: email address, first name (optional), authentication identifiers, and the date you signed up. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name, and profile identifier from Google.
• Profile data: the segment you select during onboarding, your language preference, and your premium/subscription status.
• Assessment data: your individual answers, the resulting DISC and Big Five scores, and the EQwispr archetype derived from them.
• Coaching data: which situational-coach scenarios you open, mark as done, and any notes you save.
• Consent records: which consents you granted or withdrew and when, so we can prove compliance.
• Billing data: your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, plan, status, and renewal dates. We never receive or store full card numbers.
• Technical data: data required to deliver and secure the site (such as IP address, browser and device information, and error logs), plus analytics and advertising data only where you consented.

Before you create an account, a name you type on the landing page is kept in your browser only and is never sent to our servers.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to generate your personality profile, personalize coaching content, manage your account and subscription, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Legal basis and consent

We rely on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract) for your account, the assessment you request, coaching access, and subscription billing; on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) for analytics cookies, advertising cookies, and any optional processing; and on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests) for security, fraud prevention, and keeping the service stable. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer or in your account, without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal.

5. Data retention

Account, assessment, and coaching data are kept while your account exists and are deleted when you delete your account or ask us to delete them. Consent records are kept for as long as needed to demonstrate compliance. Billing and invoice records are retained for the periods required by tax and commercial law. Technical logs are kept only for a short period for security and troubleshooting.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, email team@eqwispr.com.

7. Cookies and analytics

Essential cookies are used to keep the service functional. Analytics and advertising cookies are only loaded after you grant consent. You can change your choice at any time.

Advertising is provided by Google AdSense. If you consent, Google and its partners may set cookies or similar identifiers on your device and process data (such as IP address, device and usage data) to serve and measure ads, including personalised advertising. See Google's privacy and advertising policies for details. You can withdraw consent at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer, which stops further loading of the AdSense script.

8. Third parties and payments

We use the following categories of service providers, each under a data-processing agreement where they act on our behalf:

• Hosting, database, and authentication — to run the site, store your account and results, and sign you in (including Google sign-in, if you choose it).
• Email delivery — to send sign-in, account, and transactional messages.
• Stripe — payments and subscription management.
• Google AdSense — advertising, only after consent.

Payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. When you start a checkout, Stripe receives the data needed to process the payment (such as your email address, billing and card details, country, and transaction data) and processes it as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. We never receive or store your full card details; we only store your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and your subscription status. Stripe also informs us via a secured webhook when a payment succeeds, a subscription renews, or a subscription is cancelled, so that we can keep your access rights up to date. If you open the billing portal, you are redirected to Stripe to manage or cancel your subscription there. Stripe is based in the United States; transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses.

Google AdSense acts as an independent controller for advertising data it collects with your consent.

9. Connected AI assistants

You can optionally connect an external AI assistant or agent to EQwispr. This only happens after you explicitly authorise it on our consent screen, and the connection can read your profile, your assessment result, and your coaching progress, and save coaching notes on your behalf. Once data leaves EQwispr, the provider of that assistant processes it under its own terms and privacy policy. You can revoke the authorisation at any time, which immediately stops further access.

10. Security

Your data is protected by transport encryption, strict security headers, and database access rules that restrict every record to the account that owns it. Premium content is verified on the server, and billing fields cannot be changed from the browser.

11. No guarantee of absolute security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. You use EQwispr with this understanding.

12. Complaints

If you are in the EU, the UK, or another region with a data protection authority, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We would appreciate the chance to resolve the issue first at team@eqwispr.com.
